For Ace, Sachtler’s engineers developed a completely new patented drag, SA drag^TM (Synchronised Actuated Drag), which guarantees the familiar accuracy and repeatability at an astonishing price/performance ratio. With 3 vertical and 3 horizontal grades of drag (+0), the new patented SA drag^TM enables fine adjustment for precise panning and tilting. As with all Sachtler fluid heads, damping can also be completely deactivated.

With its 5-step counterbalance that makes fast counterbalancing of the camera set-up very simple, Ace outperforms tripod heads by other manufacturers.
